The Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) Program provides rental assistance to homeless veterans and their families in combination with case management and clinical services through the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) of Greater Los Angeles.
The VAMC screens applicants for program eligibility and service needs and will refer clients to the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) for rental assistance. LACDA will determine eligibility for rental assistance in accordance with VASH regulations.
Interested veterans are encouraged to contact the following. Please note, the VASH Program is for homeless veterans only.
LACDA executed Interagency agreements with the following PHAs to allow VASH program assisted families the flexibility to cross jurisdictional boundaries.
VASH vouchers may be used in the Cities of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Inglewood, Baldwin Park, Norwalk, Burbank, Redondo Beach, Long Beach and Kern County jurisdictions.
